;)ishould have posted this thread to tadpoles corner coz' am just a newbie to diving (having been certified by master erwin only last october) however, i opted to put this here coz' i was so awed by this dive site in the visayas. The steepwalls and the beautiful coral gardens of pescador island was amazing. For a new diver like me...diving in pescador was a thrilling experience...the walls were so steep and there were so many caves, you just dont know what to expect. There were so many varieties of marine life...we even so a very big beak turtle...bigger than i am...a foreigner who dove with us even saw a white tip shark. We didnt see the shark coz' the foreigner saw it in 150 ft...so way past my allowed depth...pescador island in moalboal cebu rocks!!!

hi gi!!! thanx for the greets...anyway, re rates...as far as i can remember its 1k per boat dive. We had 2 dives dat day and we paid 2k for dat inclusive of boat, tanks, gears (excpt wet suit and masks coz we brought our own) and dive guide. We coordinated wid nelson's dive center n dey usually have 2 skeds for group dives, 9am n 2 pm. other dive resorts in moalboal charge in dollars n r more expensive so we opted 4 nelson's. So far ok naman der gears, la naman palpak. You shiuld try diving at pescador...it was an unforgettable experience to dive said site...i was overwhelmed of it's steep walls and for a newbie like me, i got a lil' panicky at 1st though glad to say...i finishd d 1st dive and went down again for a second dive...

Thanks Donna. I hope I will get a chance to dive there, too. Would you happen to have their email add (Nelsons - I mean) and contact number? It might come in handy in the future. Thanks!

hello donna! hi gi! i totally agree with you. moalboal is awesome. the sites do offer a lot to divers in terms of adventure and scenery. you'll see nothing but deep blue (as you can't see the seabed) and different marine life below & around you especially in pescador island, right after the initial bed of corals that greet divers.
'just want to add though that our supposed dive master from nelson's, or at least the one assigned to your (donna's) hubby and me, forgot to brief us about the dive and the site. i also didn't see much of him during the dive. so in a way we were left on our own for quite some time.
given another chance though, i still want to go back to explore some more! :-)

;Dya. I agree cha, yun lng pla palpak. See you sat charie at anilao...ginaw cguro magdive ngyon noh?
